    When nothing on the market satisfied my global palate, my husband Ali asked, "You're a chef. Why don't you make it yourself?" And so it began. I went to work crafting what I craved — bold flavor in my morning mug, an invigorating lift for the afternoon slumps, a comforting reset any time.

    I didn’t set out to start a chai company. When I shared my homemade blend with friends and family, it took on a life of its own. Even the coffee lovers had to have it. It’s not just addictively delicious, it makes you feel good.

The Heart of MAHSA

A steaming cup of chai, the scent of cardamom—for me, it’s a portal to home. 

I was five. Living in Iran during war, the world outside our windows was a blur of explosions and crisscrossed tape. But inside, my mother’s kitchen was a haven, a place of magic where she fed not only our bodies, but our hungry souls. We immigrated to the US when I was seven. Through hardship and upheaval, my parents carried on, continuing to be a force for healing and connection. Our home was brimming with new friends, neighbors, and family gathered together to share aromatic food, chai ritual, and conversation. 

Today more than ever, I appreciate the freedom to experience ease, pleasure, and nourishment. Every cup of MAHSA is an invitation to reset, to find comfort and strength even in moments that feel impossible.
